چکیده

Model updating improves the correlation between response of real structure and finite-element (FE) model; however, selection parameters (parametrization) is crucial for its success. Using full-field modal shapes, a large number can be updated, e.g., Young’s moduli all finite elements; structural not necessarily sensitive to an arbitrary parameter, making optimization problem ill-conditioned. Additionally, computation full sensitivity matrix feasible relatively FE models. Not locations are equally important model updating; at highest mechanical loads, more focus required. In this research, based on curvature 3D experimental shape, where with high associated sensitivity. The assumption initially researched Euler–Bernoulli beam elements second-order tetrahedrons. proposed method investigated numerical experiments, successful was confirmed. With parametrization approach, geometrically complex parametrized updated without significant user input, generalizing model-updating procedure.

Level curvature and metal-insulator transition in 3d Anderson model

The level curvature in the Anderson model on a cubic lattice is numerically investigated as an indicator of the metallic-insulator transition. It is shown that trie mean curvature obeys a scaling law in the whole range of the disorder parameter. In the metallic regime, the distribution of rescaled curvatures is found to be well described by a formula proposed by Zakrzewski and Delande [1] for r...

3D Object Recognition and Pose Estimation for Multiple Objects Using Multi-Prioritized RANSAC and Model Updating

We present a feature-based framework that combines spatial feature clustering, guided sampling for pose generation, and model updating for 3D object recognition and pose estimation. Existing methods fails in case of repeated patterns or multiple instances of the same object, as they rely only on feature discriminability for matching and on the estimator capabilities for outlier rejection. We pr...

Multi-level spherical moments based 3D model retrieval

In this paper a novel 3D model retrieval method that employs multi-level spherical moment analysis and relies on voxelization and spherical mapping of the 3D models is proposed. For a given polygon-soup 3D model, first a pose normalization step is done to align the model into a canonical coordinate frame so as to define the shape representation with respect to this orientation. Afterward we ras...

3D Object Model Reconstruction Based on Polywogs Wavelet Network Parametrization

This paper presents a technique for compact three dimensional (3D) object model reconstruction using wavelet networks. It consists to transform an input surface vertices into signals, and uses wavelet network parameters for signal approximations. To prove this, we use a wavelet network architecture founded on several mother wavelet families. POLYnomials WindOwed with Gaussians (POLYWOG) wavelet ...

A Novel Assisted History Matching Workflow and its Application in a Full Field Reservoir Simulation Model

The significant increase in using reservoir simulation models poses significant challenges in the design and calibration of models. Moreover, conventional model calibration, history matching, is usually performed using a trial and error process of adjusting model parameters until a satisfactory match is obtained. In addition, history matching is an inverse problem, and hence it may have non-uni...
